The Twice Read Bookshop, located at 24 State Street, Tully is a fund raising arm of the Tully Area Historical Society. There are now three rooms filled with books. The large main room contains novels, sorted by author; children's books; sheet music; records; VHS Tapes;, Books on Tape; as well as a section of out-of-print books. The second largest room is strictly non-fiction, sorted by category and the smallest new room is science fiction, westerns, mystery, large print books, biographies, all sorted by author.
All books are donated to the historical society for fund raising, thus we are able to sell at a reasonable price level. Hard Covers are $1.00, paper backs $.50, Children's books $.25, cooking and kraft magazines $.10. Our out-of-print books are priced individually.
Books are being brought in almost every day and are quickly put away so they can be found easily.
We also keep a list of "books wanted" for our customers so that if a book comes in, the customer is immediately notified and can pick the book up.
Donations of good clean books are always welcomed.
